We make our own green tea [tonifying] and amalaki [bioavailable vit c] extracts using biodynamic grape that is cured for 2 months. Alfalfa extract [rich in vitamin K] is macerated in carefully chosen hydrosols and aloe vera. Sea buckthorn and rose hips are added for their antioxidant efficacy, noted in "The" Eye Crème’s rich, orangey color. The essential oils in this formula are specifically chosen to aid circulation and help stagnation. All joined authentically together in a synergy of Certified Organic & Biodynamic ingredients to deliver excellent results that are corrective, preventative, and continued!

After cleansing with Rosemary & Geranium Créme Cleanser, apply 1/2 pump of "The" Eye Crème to middle and index fingers. Pat around boney ridge of eyes from inside corner above eyes to inside corner below eyes. Use daily as a preventative. Avoid getting product directly in eyes.
If your eye area has a yellow tinge after using "The" Eye Crème, apply less. A little goes a long way!
"The" Eye Crème was not part of the original 9 Benedetta preparations launched February 1, 1996. I felt the key need for eye crémes were to prevent and rid the skin of fine wrinkles. With that in mind, I saw no reason to cause further expense to my clients and customers when the existing regimen addressed this need.
However, the demand piqued my interest and I started my own research asking the questions: 1. What is the primary reason people want an eye crème? 2. What don’t they want?
It was no surprise to hear wrinkle reduction was the primary reason and the secondary was dark circles and puffiness. I was surprised, however, to find that many felt they could not use most eye creams due to the irritating oil content of the product, as most are wax or oil based. I set out to first develop an essential oil blend that moved stagnation without stripping the delicate eye area. As with all of Benedetta botanical preparations, no one ingredient stands alone without a synergy to support it.
The next steps were to complete the synergy with bioavailable non-oily plant materials that addressed the issues discussed along with protection and long lasting correction. It took about 2 years before completion, as one of the raw materials had to be developed. Once in place, I launched with confidence that this non-oily, highly active, antioxidant rich formula would be a success. Day & Night: Use morning and night in accordance with the Benedetta Facial Regimen. Follow with Steps 2 through 5.
Apply a quarter size of cleanser to dry skin. Massage over the entire face and neck in a circular fashion until créme has disappeared and an oily film remains. Pay attention to areas of congestion and bumpy skin, massaging these areas longer. Leave on for 1-3 minutes for therapeutic treatment. Rinse with a wet washcloth or leave on for a minimum of 10 minutes for a gentle exfoliation treatment.
May be used as a spot treatment at night for blemishes that have not broken through the skin (such as fatty deposits and blackheads) and to help lighten age spots over time.
There is no need to use a separate toner as the cleansing and toning process is complete after the use of this product.
OMR: This technique is used to inhibit the stretching and pulling of the skin. This simple yet effective procedure should be practiced whenever applying product below the eyebrows.
Open mouth to a comfortable position while pressing lips over teeth. The wider the mouth is opened, the more resistance will be felt. Do not overdo this or open to a point of discomfort. Massage is done using firm, continuous pressure.
This authentic formula is based on my experience of creating customized aromatherapeutic treatments for my clients. Back in 1986 when I started the process of creating the Crystal Radiance Hydrating Elixirs, created to use under oils and primarily for nighttime renewal and balance, I did not foresee a time that I would create a Nighttime Serum.
Well… never say never! About two years ago I started investigating some plant nutrients that could be made into waters and extracts to feed the skin on the water saturation level we all crave. Many of these botanicals have a rich antioxidant profile unequaled in the pharmaceutical world for bioavailability where it counts.
I’m talking about the mainstream vitamins in many trendy skin care products including Vitamin C, K, A, amino acid peptides, stem cell therapy, and of course hyaluronic acid.
The idea crossed my mind to create a non-lipid formula that would saturate the skin with free radical fighting nutrition while we slept. I wanted another process to compliment the daytime usage of the rich antioxidant oils we use to filter and protect our skin.

The Crystal Radiance Hydrating Elixirs, Step 3 in our 5-Step Facial Regimen, are developed as treatments to help hydrate, balance, and rejuvenate the skin. These original nourishing water-based products were developed in 1986 to reestablish water hydration.
The hydrating nature of our elixirs include a complex botanical synergy specific to each skin type, along with an energetic gem elixir, chosen for its specific mineral qualities, all to assist water saturation.
For use both day and night, these elixirs will assist in renewing hydration deeper into the epidermis before oil-based products during the day, and alone at night to regulate while you sleep, without the use of serums, or night creams. Also perfect for travel to keep from dehydrating, especially on planes.
Unlike other types of rosemary, rosemary verbenone contains no camphor and is found to be very regenerative. Combined with helichrysum and other vibrant essential oils, this elixir is for most skin types and helps improve circulation.
Shake and spray 3-4 pumps over face and neck. Keep bottle approximately 10-12 inches from face.
Day: After cleansing with Créme Cleanser, spray face and neck with Crystal Radiance, before applying Precious & Nourishing Facial Oil and Visibly Radiant Moisturizer.

The Crystal Radiance Hydrating Elixir series are authentic formulas based on water integration, saturation and balance. Created in 1986, these little sweeties would become the impetus for creating the Benedetta facial regimen launched 10 years later.
My intention for the Crystal Radiance Elixirs was to aid the relief of dehydration, plaguing the majority of individuals and my clients. The key was to introduce cell hydration during sleep to regain balance when waking.
Our biological clock and *circadian rhythms in the skin affect the biology of appearance and also have a profound effect on the absorption of products where hydration is a key factor. A recent study reveals the importance of the biological clock in the regeneration of skin stem cells. When this system is disrupted it results in premature tissue aging. When skin cells divide, in a process called proliferation, this process takes place during the day at various times, but is at least 30 times more rapid at night than during the day. The rate of water loss is 20% to 30% higher at night than during the day. Therefore, the skin’s regulation with regard to water loss and skin hydration, as well as skin ph and skin temperature, are controlled during sleeping hours.

Rich in antioxidants, these intensive oil treatments aid the skin's ability to protect against UV rays and fight free radical damage as Step 4 in our 5-Step Facial Regimen. Antioxidants are known as free radical scavenging substances, helping to protect the skin from oxidation, and therefore improving its resistance to environmental damage. Easily transported into the epidermis, these nutritious cellular regenerators can often have a greater effect than a moisturizer alone.
Our Geranium Oil was developed for oily or congested skin. Why use a facial oil on oily skin? Most often oil-free or oil-reducing products confuse the sebaceous glands into producing more oil, creating a never-ending cycle. The combination of plant oils and essential oils in our blends is highly antiseptic and can help to balance oil production.
Apply 4-6 drops Antioxidant Facial Oil immediately after spraying with Crystal Radiance Hydrating Elixir. Massage into the skin evenly with fingertips.
If the oil becomes solid, run the bottle under hot water to liquefy.

The Precious & Nourishing Antioxidant Facial Oils: Palmarosa and Geranium, were developed to address environmental harm associated with depleted, unhealthy skin and aging.
Antioxidants have long been reputed to fight free radical damage, with regards to targeting cell oxidation. It was therefore my inclination to create a formula that focused on protection through delivering nutrients further into the dermis of the skin to address free radical elimination.
With this in mind the quest was to find nutrients in the botanical world that have antioxidant protection and anti-oxidizing effects often caused by the atmosphere, including but not limited to UVA and UVB rays.
Protection then is described as something that assists the skin’s ability to receive and utilize nutrients that further its longevity and survival level, as opposed to conventional protection, meaning to a cover the skin with a mineral or chemical block. Such products blanket the skin with a barrier to keep the sunrays from penetrating and are commonly known as a Sun Protection Factor.
Instead, the Precious & Nourishing Antioxidant Oils deliver a synergy of botanical nutrients that enhances our immunity and skin strength to combat degradation at the cellular wall. Otherwise, we are only preventing burning and not considering what lies beneath.
Evidence has shown that these chemicals can be dehydrating to the skin’s early and rapid aging process, hence contributing to the breakdown of the skin’s longevity, strength and endurance. All of which are renewed with specifically formulated nutrient-rich synergies, with the addition of bioavailable antioxidants.
It is important to note that although we do not incorporate SPFs, evidence has shown that with the use of our Precious & Nourishing Oils, the sun is less able to burn the skin and cause redness. This is due in part to their natural antioxidant filtering effect.

Hello! Unopened products stay fresh for about to 1 year as long as they are stored in a climate controlled environment. Opened products should be used within 6 months of opening them.
Very soothing creme, but it's quite pricey. However a little does go a long way.
United StatesThere is likely nothing that could be done about this but I have found that the pump is not airtight so there is always a little product that is dried out when I use it. I feel like I am wasting a fair amount of product because of this.
