Day & Night: Use morning and night in accordance with the Benedetta Facial Regimen. Follow with Steps 2 through 5.
Apply a quarter size of product to dry skin. Massage over entire face and neck in a circular fashion until créme has disappeared and an oily film remains. Pay attention to areas of congestion and bumpy skin, massaging these areas longer. Leave on 1-3 minutes for a therapeutic treatment. Rinse with a wet wash cloth or leave on a minimum 10 minutes for a gentle exfoliation treatment.
May be used as a spot treatment at night for blemishes that have not broken through the skin (such as fatty deposits and blackheads) and to help lighten age spots over time.
There is no need to use a separate toner as the cleansing and toning process is complete after use of this product.
OMR: This technique is used to inhibit stretching and pulling of the skin. This simple yet effective procedure should be practiced whenever applying product below the eyebrows.
Open mouth to a comfortable position while pressing lips over teeth. The wider the mouth is opened, the more resistance will be felt. Do not overdo this or open to a point of discomfort. Massage is done using firm, continuous pressure.
This authentic formula is based on my experience of creating customized aromatherapeutic treatments for my clients. The common protocol for the first stage of the facial treatment was the same for most. The goal was to stimulate circulation, move the lymph, and allow purification at deeper layers while moving waste through the skin and back into the blood stream. The Anti-Inflammatory Crème Cleanser, Step 1 in our 5-Step Facial Regimen, is designed to soothe and calm the skin as it purifies. Crafted to care for those prone to redness or *problematic inflammation and skin sensitivities.
High in Chamazulene, known to reduce redness, along with the cleansing and softening effects of our Marine Algae, harvested once a year from the rocks along the Brittany Coast of France, this formula gently cleanses as it soothes.
Due to the soothing properties in the ingredients of this cleanser, we recommend using it to calm the skin after sunburn, windburn, laser treatments, microdermabrasion, and chemical peels.

The Anti-Inflammatory Series was originally created for hyper-sensitive, auto-immune or atopic skin inflammations such as eczema, seborrhea dermatitis, psoriasis, and other reactionary skin conditions.
Over many years of creating active botanical preparations, we have encountered many that rash up at the mere smell of an essential oil. My daughter Taylor was the impetus of the Anti-Inflammatory Series, after a severe bout with impetigo caused by an infected mosquito bite at 12. Her legs would rash up if she sat on a friend’s lawn, using lip balm with essentials oils or makeup would instantly cause a reaction.
I myself have suffered with such auto-immune skin responses. My personal journey is one that does not prescribe to conventional wisdom when it comes to my health. Our skin is a visible indicator of other systemic issues, so once those are addressed, and a solution adhered to, the skin will heal. Diet, stress, and overall mindful lifestyle is key.
The standard recommendation of dermatologists is steroids and the elimination of perfumed products. Why not guide them holistically and prescribe an anti-inflammatory diet along with nutritional supplementation and lifestyle awareness, among other things?

“The” Eye Crème, Step 2 in our 5-Step Facial Regimen, helps diminish dark circles, puffiness and wrinkles. This bioavailable, 99% Certified Organic, preparation has a 100% botanical delivery system the body recognizes; transforming dull, lifeless skin around the eyes as it assists your body’s defense against aging.
We make our own green tea [tonifying] and amalaki [bioavailable vit c] extracts using biodynamic grape that is cured for 2 months. Alfalfa extract [rich in vitamin K] is macerated in carefully chosen hydrosols and aloe vera. Sea buckthorn and rose hips are added for their antioxidant efficacy, noted in "The" Eye Crème’s rich, orangey color. The essential oils in this formula are specifically chosen to aid circulation and help stagnation. All joined authentically together in a synergy of Certified Organic & Biodynamic ingredients to deliver excellent results that are corrective, preventative, and continued!
A little goes a long way as the botanicals in this formula absorb into the skin easily and effortlessly. This bioavailable preparation may also impart a cool feeling around the eyes, a sign of the active ingredients doing their job.

After cleansing with Rosemary & Geranium Créme Cleanser, apply 1/2 pump of "The" Eye Crème to middle and index fingers. Pat around boney ridge of eyes from inside corner above eyes to inside corner below eyes. Use daily as a preventative. Avoid getting product directly in eyes.
If your eye area has a yellow tinge after using "The" Eye Crème, apply less. A little goes a long way!
"The" Eye Crème was not part of the original 9 Benedetta preparations launched February 1, 1996. I felt the key need for eye crémes were to prevent and rid the skin of fine wrinkles. With that in mind, I saw no reason to cause further expense to my clients and customers when the existing regimen addressed this need.
However, the demand piqued my interest and I started my own research asking the questions: 1. What is the primary reason people want an eye crème? 2. What don’t they want?
It was no surprise to hear wrinkle reduction was the primary reason and the secondary was dark circles and puffiness. I was surprised, however, to find that many felt they could not use most eye creams due to the irritating oil content of the product, as most are wax or oil based. I set out to first develop an essential oil blend that moved stagnation without stripping the delicate eye area. As with all of Benedetta botanical preparations, no one ingredient stands alone without a synergy to support it.
The next steps were to complete the synergy with bioavailable non-oily plant materials that addressed the issues discussed along with protection and long lasting correction. It took about 2 years before completion, as one of the raw materials had to be developed. Once in place, I launched with confidence that this non-oily, highly active, antioxidant rich formula would be a success. I am proud to offer this authentic handcrafted, small batched "The" Eye Crème. Developed for the delicate eye area, this exquisite preparation is designed to work holistically to rejuvenate, correct, and protect, leaving no oily residue or drag on the skin.
