  Our 100% botanical Sacred Soap is rich with Certified Fair Trade Shea Butter and West African Black Soap. This creamy, non-drying formula body wash uses plant-realized soaping agents, requiring no need for synthetic, chemical lye.

  Our globally and locally produced Farm-Sourced® hydrosols and essential oils give this delicately aromatic soap a fresh scent, making it a delight to use often.

  As with the entire Benedetta line, Sacred Soap is crafted in small batches with loving intention. Great for those with dry hands and safe for babies and children.

• Day: Shake gently before use. Separation occurs naturally. Use daily on hands and body for an exceptional washing experience.

• I have never been a fan of sodium laurel sulfates or any of the derivatives of chemically produced soap. When in search for a direct source of Shea Butter, produced in west Africa, I found in so doing that black soap kept coming up. Once finding a reputable, fair trade company, they sent me a pound of black soap. They said that it was approximately 48% shea butter and the saponifier was that of a palm oil and plantain ash variety. I thought I’d give it try. Wow, not bad but a little gritty and definitely dirty. This soap, like shea butter is handmade by women’s cooperatives, usually in crude outdoor areas. In the earlier years I would find shea butter shells, twigs and rocks mixed inside. I would double sometimes triple strain the material to purify it.

  The Sacred Soap is intended to cleanse without stripping the skin’s delicate balance as it leaves you refreshed.

  Using both local and far harvested botanicals made into hydrosols, along with the right amount of essential oils, the Sacred Soap offers the perfect balance of cleanse and moisture.

  I do not formulate for aroma, but for effect, however, as often happens we get many users addicted to the smell, many convinced it has ginger in it, which it does not.

  It’s a thinner soap, as we do not use emulsifiers to bind it, I believe this is one of the purest soaps on the market and that uses NO lye!

Day & Night: Use morning and night in accordance with the Benedetta Facial Regimen. Follow with Steps 2 through 5.

Apply a quarter size of cleanser to dry skin. Massage over the entire face and neck in a circular fashion until créme has disappeared and an oily film remains.

Pay attention to areas of congestion and bumpy skin, massaging these areas longer. Leave on for 1-3 minutes for therapeutic treatment. Rinse with a wet washcloth or leave on for a minimum of 10 minutes for a gentle exfoliation treatment.May be used as a spot treatment at night for blemishes that have not broken through the skin (such as fatty deposits and blackheads) and to help lighten age spots over time.There is no need to use a separate toner as the cleansing and toning process is complete after the use of this product.

OMR: This technique is used to inhibit the stretching and pulling of the skin. This simple yet effective procedure should be practiced whenever applying product below the eyebrows.

Open mouth to a comfortable position while pressing lips over teeth. The wider the mouth is opened, the more resistance will be felt. Do not overdo this or open to a point of discomfort. Massage is done using firm, continuous pressure.

This authentic formula is based on my experience of creating customized aromatherapeutic treatments for my clients.
