Our Seaweed Mask is comprised of a micronized fine powder, made fresh per individual use by combining Certified Biodynamic & Organic Lavender Hydrosol. The powder consists of several sustainably harvested seaweeds, including hand-picked red marine algae and certified organic blue green spirulina. Red marine algae, known for its antiviral properties, aids in circulation, hydration and exfoliation.

Mix Seaweed Powder with Lavender Hydrosol to a creamy consistency and apply with brush or fingertips. Suggested measurements: Mix 3/4 scoop of Seaweed Powder to approximately 1 scoop Lavender Hydrosol. However, we encourage you to use individual measurements based on preferred consistency.

After launching the Benedetta line in February 1996, with exactly 9 authentic preparations, a facial mask was not among them.
We slowly integrated into selling to estheticians and they were the ones that requested that we create a clay mask of sorts. I initially felt that our Rosemary & Geranium Cleanser was all anyone needed to achieve many of the attributes one expected from a clay mask. In fact, there is some clay in that cleanser. Leaving the cleanser on for 20 minutes while massaging congested areas is very exfoliating.
I felt that clay was far to stripping for the skin and would be counterproductive in bringing the skin into balance. I resisted until I was given a pound of some sea veggies that had been micronized (made into flour). Not complete, I added some others, along with Blue green algae, and voila, a Non-Clay Anti-Aging Facial Mask was born. Made fresh with Lavender Hydrosol, you can customize the viscosity to suit your skin.
I am not one to follow trends and run wild with one ingredient as the magic bullet to all your skin care needs. It is not only a system of skin care preparations that work together that matters, but the synergies and collaborative ingredients that form a product.

Day & Night: Use morning and night in accordance with the Benedetta Facial Regimen. Follow with Steps 2 through 5.
Apply a quarter size of product to dry skin. Massage over entire face and neck in a circular fashion until créme has disappeared and an oily film remains. Pay attention to areas of congestion and bumpy skin, massaging these areas longer. Leave on 1-3 minutes for a therapeutic treatment. Rinse with a wet wash cloth or leave on a minimum 10 minutes for a gentle exfoliation treatment.
May be used as a spot treatment at night for blemishes that have not broken through the skin (such as fatty deposits and blackheads) and to help lighten age spots over time.
There is no need to use a separate toner as the cleansing and toning process is complete after use of this product.
OMR: This technique is used to inhibit stretching and pulling of the skin. This simple yet effective procedure should be practiced whenever applying product below the eyebrows.
Open mouth to a comfortable position while pressing lips over teeth. The wider the mouth is opened, the more resistance will be felt. Do not overdo this or open to a point of discomfort. Massage is done using firm, continuous pressure.
This authentic formula is based on my experience of creating customized aromatherapeutic treatments for my clients. The common protocol for the first stage of the facial treatment was the same for most. The goal was to stimulate circulation, move the lymph, and allow purification at deeper layers while moving waste through the skin and back into the blood stream. My lavender hydrosol has finished but i still have so much seaweed powder left, can I purchase the body lavender hydrosol to use with seaweed powder? Is it the same thing?
